I thought I was not going to like this recipe because of all the pan/plate switching..but it is worth every bit of effort and versatile with things that can be added. I added frozen spinach and a little more wine. Using fresh chicken stock that I keep frozen makes a big difference for this dish. Terrific!

My Nonna Lucia from Acuto never used hot peppers or yellow or red peppers. Her Chicken Cacciatore was the food of the gods, and was simply made and wonderful.

This was a hugs hit I made it exactly lke the recipe says, exept I used some honey at the end like Bobby did.

My only issue is I didnt make more for left over, also I served this over rice.

I added olives and doubled the wine. Now it's really good.

This was really good...but instead of rice or pasta...serve over garlic mashed potatoes....really good!

I LIKED THIS DISH. I MAKE MINE WITH PASTA ALSO AND ONLY USE RICE WHEN I DO NOT HAVE ANY. THE TWIST ON THE HONEY IS NICE. I USE SUGAR AND CARROTS TO CUT THE ACID. I LIKE RED WINE IN A TOMATO SAUCE RATHER THAN WHITE WINE.

Ours turned out fantastic and we paired it with TF's smashed broccoli from his first book. The chicken was tender, sauce was rich, and the wine was dee-lish. Rodney Strong '03 Cab in the dish and in the glass...

It was ok, but it did not have much flavor, next time i would add tons of seasonings or something, and plus make sure to cook it way longer than the recipe calls for.

On the show Bobby added honey to the sauce. Why was it not included in the recipe?

    Very good but add honey
