I have made this salad twice now and it is fabulous. I agree with other reviewers that the dressing can easily go further with added noodles or additional cabbage. VERY good. Don't forget the roasted nuts - I didn't have them the 2nd time and felt they were really missing.

    Good accompanied with Viognier. yum.

I served this on whole wheat spaghetti instead of lettuce. It was outstanding! Everyone asked me to make it again.

Absolutely the best Asian salad I've had. I wouldn't change a thing. The dressing! Oh my goodness! It's the bomb! Bobby Flay (to whom I fondly refer as "my boyfriend", this salad is genius. Such a great combination of ingredients, texture & flavors. Keep the Asian-influenced recipes coming, please.

We made this for the first time last night. I was nervous because we had company over at the last minute and I'd never made it before. The salad was completely gone with everyone having seconds. Thanks Bobby! The only thing I did differently was to serve it with Chinese hot chili sauce on the side for those who like added spice. The only change I would make for next time it to go a little lighter on the oil and I'd add mandarin oranges. WONDERFUL salad!!

Ok.. I was not a big fan of Bobby Flay. Always thought he was a little arrogant for my taste. But this recipe tells me.. maybe he deserves to be ; . I just this very minute got done making this...and it is un frickin' believable!! Instead of rotisserie chicken..(didn't feel like running to the store..I broiled chicken cutlets in the oven on low after sprinkling them w/salt, pepper, and sesame seed oil. I sliced the chicken into tiny strips and layed it across the salad.. beautiful : I also used Virginia Brand unsalted peanuts that I lightly toasted in the oven for about 5 min after chopping them. (Can't remember if the recipe called for dry roasted or not..if I go back I don't want to lose my review. I started out thinking I was going to make a copy of Applebee's Oriental Chicken salad.. and this one popped up in my search. Wow! What a find! This will defiinitely be one of my go to salad recipes! And once more in defense of my prior feelings for Bobby Flay..at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival.. Bobby and Guy were the friendliest chef's there to everyone.. where Rachel Ray seemed to be too good to mingle with anyone..hiding behind her bodyguards and husband the whole time. :( Bobby has moved very close to the top of my list..LOL :

We added rice noodles to the salad to make it a hardier meal. Had plenty of dressing to cover noodles. Made my husband go to the store to get the mint after I started. I am so glad I didnt leave it out. The herbs really made this salad perfect. Will make again and again and use the dressing on its own. Thanks for great recipe.

My boyfriend and I made this last night and it was a huge hit. He even said that this was the best Chinese Chicken Salad he has ever had! We tweaked the recipe by using mixed greens as our lettuce base, and then added in shredded purple cabbage for some crunch. Also, my boyfriend says that a chinese chicken isn't a chinese chicken salad without friend wondons, so we added those as well. We definitely will be making this again soon!

I just had this at a friends home! I can't stop thinking about it~ I want to make it as soon as possible for my family. I might have to tone down the spice for my little kids but it is just perfect for me!

Bobby hits it out of the park with this one--this salad satisfies on every level. I make the dressing all the time now, to have on hand. A definite keeper!!
