I enjoyed this coleslaw a lot! Couldn't find the correct attachment to my food processor, so I thinly sliced the cabbage by hand which made a nice crunchy slaw. Family thinks the dressing wasn't as creamy as they were hoping but I thought it was perfect and am sure next time (with finely shredded cabbage it will be more to their preference. Great taste. Loved the mustard and the sour cream in it. Nice twang. My only modification was I didn't have celery salt. I substituted 1 tsp Kosher salt + 1 tsp celery seed. Yum! Will make this often.

Bobby, thank you so much for the recipe. In my family, we all cook mostly from scratch and I've never added sour cream to my coleslaw. VERY TASTY :D because I love sour cream!! And I also love mustard. For those whom complained about the mustard being "unappealing" on the pallet may have been due to the combination of onions, mustard, and cabbage. However, in most dishes, if you allow the flavors to mesh together, the dish always seemingly tastes great after an hour or more. Again, thank you for a great recipe!!!

This recipe is perfect as is. The mustard adds zing and celery salt depth. Awesome. I've made this numerous times and everyone loves it. Perfect with pulled pork or ribs.

My rating is based on my own slight variation of this recipe. Instead of the dry mustard, I used about a tbsp of mustard seeds. I also substituted scallions for the onion and used ground celery plus a little extra salt instead of the celery salt. I have made this several times to rave reviews! As a side note, my MIL made the recipe as written and we all found the mustard WAY too powerful. Second time, she cut back on the mustard, but I think my version with the scallions and mustard seeds is much better.

Loved it! I didn't have any dried mustard so I left it out and thought it was fine. Now, let's see if the rest of the family likes it!

Its a great recipe if you take out the mustard completely, start with 1/2 cup of mayo (add the rest or smaller amounts later if preferredand have the onion be the last thing you put in the slaw and slowly add to taste!
