This recipe is great. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because I changed it a little. I used light miracle whip and light sour cream to cut out some of the fat. I also used dijon mustard. It turned out amazing. I love it and my family does too. It is definitely a keeper.

This coleslaw recipe is the bomb! I didn't have any celery salt so I used celery seed and kosher salt. I also used one bag of precut slaw (I'm lazy I have used MANY recipes for coleslaw over the years and this one is superior. A note about the dry mustard overwhelming the dish...don't plan on making this and serving it immediately...it needs to set up for two hours (or more IMO in the fridge. When I made this and took a bite right after it was mixed,
I thought "Ugh all I taste is mustard powder" Three hours later however, the flavors had all melded together wonderfully and it was one of the best creamy coleslaws that I have ever tasted! Excellent with ribs, or on a sandwich!

I like that this recipe is very easy and simple, especially when make for a crowd. I had apple cider vinegar on hand, so used that in place of the white vinegar and added some red pepper flakes to the sauce. The slaw was a huge hit on both pulled pork & beef bbq sandwiches and as a side dish.

This coleslaw received rave reviews at my Memorial Day dinner. I did make a few adjustments after reading several of the reviews. I used a combination of celery salt and celery seed, decreased the dry mustard to half of what was called for, added a little more sour cream and used green onions instead of spanish onions. I also did not process the cabbage using the food processor; chopped by hand instead.

Yum! Traditional enough to go w/ all the entrees you'd think for coleslaw but different enough to add some pizzazz. If you like vinegar/sugar based coleslaw this isn't for you although it does have the sweet sour tang. I will be making this again. I had no celery salt but did use celery seed. It worked but I'll get some c. salt for the next time

I make this with my pulled pork sandwiches. I always get lots of compliments about it. The only recipe that I ever use! I also add a little cilantro and jalapeno to give it more of a kick, but even without those ingredients the slaw is awesome.

I can't believe he made something without chipotle or hot peppers of any kind. Great recipe!

I have made this a few times now, and it has become my go-to recipe for cole slaw. Adjust the mustard amount up or down depending on your tastes, I usually go up a bit. Excellent basic recipe.
