I followed this recipe and some suggestions that I read in the reviews. I limited the ground mustard to about 1 1/2 teaspoons. The celery salt at 1 teaspoon. Everything else was according the recipe. It was great and easy to make. My first ever coleslaw. Thanks for the recipe.

Pretty good! This is my is attempt at homemade slaw. The celery salt really added a lot! I modified the recipe a bit to make it healthier; used a little less mayo and Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. I was worried b/c I only had balsamic vinegar but it turned out fine!

Dood - this is fricking great coleslaw - everyone at our 4th dinner agreed it had the Bobby Flay bite - spicy but subtle - don't leave out anything . . .you'll be glad you made it.

This is the closest I have ever come to my Mother's fabulous cole slaw, that I did not have the recipe to hand down to my girls. My husband [ super picky eater] loves this cole slaw.I actually just use a large head of cabbage sliced and diced with a knife on a cutting board and mix up a DOUBLE recipe of he dressing and add as much as necessary to moisten the slaw....so good. Too many recipes try to use lemon juice....not he same as vinear and sugar.
ps someimes I add more dressing to the slaw later.

I enjoyed this coleslaw a lot! Couldn't find the correct attachment to my food processor, so I thinly sliced the cabbage by hand which made a nice crunchy slaw. Family thinks the dressing wasn't as creamy as they were hoping but I thought it was perfect and am sure next time (with finely shredded cabbage it will be more to their preference. Great taste. Loved the mustard and the sour cream in it. Nice twang. My only modification was I didn't have celery salt. I substituted 1 tsp Kosher salt + 1 tsp celery seed. Yum! Will make this often.

Bobby, thank you so much for the recipe. In my family, we all cook mostly from scratch and I've never added sour cream to my coleslaw. VERY TASTY :D because I love sour cream!! And I also love mustard. For those whom complained about the mustard being "unappealing" on the pallet may have been due to the combination of onions, mustard, and cabbage. However, in most dishes, if you allow the flavors to mesh together, the dish always seemingly tastes great after an hour or more. Again, thank you for a great recipe!!!
