    The burgers themselves were great, but that seemed to be mostly due to the delectable surroundings (cheese, mayo, and ham. We tried this recipe twice. The first time we pressed the sandwiches, and the second time we left them alone. The second round was better.

    Made these for Memorial Day '05 and they were terrific! The melty cheese, the ham & pickle, the garlic mayo - it all melds so wonderfully with the grilled burger. I would probably add more roasted garlic to the mayo next time, and believe me there WILL be a next time! I didn't wrap the burgers in foil and they still came out great. This is a keeper.

    Made the burgers from memory and while I ended up not following the recipe exactly the burgers came out amazing. They were all gone in a matter of minutes. Even if you usually don't eat Swiss on your burgers you should try it with this recipe. All the flavors and juices meld together for an awesome taste.

    An absolute hit at my family cookout. They were impresssed with the presses burger with the combination of hame ans swiss cheese.....Every burger was eaten and no lefovers.
