I really enjoyed this dish, but my husband thought that the inside of the relleno was soggy. The red pepper sauce was very tasty.

My wife always writes comments on the recipes I make and she gave this one an A+++ and then she drew a smiley face. This one knocked it right out of the park.
Worth the effort.

I tasted these Chile Rellenos, unlike any others or the ones I'm use to. You hit a homerun with this one Bobby....Great being on your show.

This recipe took quite a while to prep but I would absolutely make it again. I couldn't find japanese eggplant so I used regular eggplant instead and it was still excellent. To stuff the peppers I put the filling in a plastic storage bag with the corner cut off like a pastry bag. It worked very well.

I had this dish at Mesa in Las Vegas and knew I had to add it to my collection. My husband who is not an eggplant fan LOVED it. I feel it is diffiinately worth the time and effort.

I made these last month, however I substituted the eggplant for cactus... No one in our house hold likes eggplant... They still came out very tasty... I am now making them again since we are having company for the holidays... Thanks for the recipe Bobby...
