This turned out so perfect I felt Bobby Flay cooked for us himself; (my hubby did a great job on the gas grill. The balsamic bbq sauce came together very easy, everyone kept saying another new recipe? After searing the meat on both sides, put the bread on the bbq. Everything just came together giving us a wonderful tasty dinner and easy. Absolutely love the Food Network shows.
This recipe definitely stays in my faves.
Thanks Bobby

This is so doggone good that I felt transported to my favorite restaurant. Follow Bobby's directions for the meat. It comes out perfectly. I also cooked mine on a gas grill with two burners on, and two off for the indirect heat. The only caveat is that I would make the sauce several hours in advance; it takes a while to make, and I'd grill the bread minus the cheese in advance also. It makes a lot of sauce. I think I'll freeze the remainder for another great meal.

My wife and I love Bobby Flay's food and recipes, and after making this for dinner we ranked the flank steak and balsamic bbq sauce in the top 3 BF recipes we've ever tried from FoodNetwork.com.
The recipe is dead on in terms of how to cook the meat to a perfect medium rare. . . we cooked the steak on a gas grill and after searing a crust on the meat with high heat for 4 minutes per side, we moved the meat over unlit burners and began basting with the sauce, cooking for 15 minutes with the lid closed.
We are already thinking of additional dishes to use the balsamic bbq sauce, we think it would make amazing bbq chicken.
