I absolutely love this dish and I am so stoked to find an easy to make basil vinaigrette recipe as well. I use the basil vinaigrette on all my salads. If you like shallots, I would add one in. It gives adds a subtle and fresh onion-like flavor and works great with the basil. Oh yeah, I don't own a food processor, so I just made a basil chiffonade and placed it over the dish. Wonderful!!!

Beautiful, simple, and delicious. Made it as a quick appetizer for my family. They loved it. The balsamic vinaigrette was delectable.

I have made this several times now. Everyone asks me to make it. I add roasted red peppers, and it's a hit! I do not like tomatoes or mozzarella, so I use the dressing on a fresh salad. I love the vinagrette! It's all I use for a salad dressing, especially in the summer with my fresh basil I grow in my garden.

I tried the Fresh Mozzarella with Red and Yellow Tomatoes and Basil Vinaigrette, but I only had yellow tomatoes. It was delicious, light and quick to make.

This is the very first Food Network and the first Bobby Flay recipe I've ever tried. I am far from an expert cook. This was easy and delicious. The dressing was perfect, light but flavorful. Plus the dish lookes so nice and colorful. My 5 year old said "It looks like summer." What's more important, she liked it, saying, "Mmmmm" with every bite. (She loves tomatoes and cheese. Great use for those summer tomatoes. I will definitely be trying more of Bobby Flay's recipes!

This was so easy to make. I plated it by tomato, cheese, then a full leaf of basil and repeated the pattern, alternating the color of the tomatoes. Then I drizzled the sauce over it and left the remainding sauce on the side. It tasted as good as it looked! Great reviews from my dinner guests as well.
