Great except too much sugar. Next time I'll add the syrup last and to taste

I make and enjoy mojitos on a regular basis; their a staple drink at any of our BBQ's or get togethers. This was one of my least favorite recipes, but this was better than any premade mix. It was extremely easy to make and easy to make larger quantities for a group of people. Although the frozen blended style was appealing and refreshing, this mojito seemed flat and lacking in depth of flavor.

Instead of combining the mint and simple syrup, I made the simple syrup and then infused the mint in it, leaving it for about 1/2 hr. That way, no tiny pieces of mint floating around my drink. This was so good and cooling!

I love mojitos and this is just another great variation. I don't mind the muddled mint leaves in regular mojitos but I know of some people who don't like the little chunks but still like the taste combo. Blending it makes it nice 'n smooth all around...AND refreshing! So, missing tonic h2o but the crushed ice makes up for it.

I actually think if you like mojitos you will love a frozen mojito even more because there aren't big chunky mint leaves. The leaves are ground up so small you just drink them down easily. Very refreshing.

I made this using pineapple rum. The recipe is okay- quick and easy. I did find the floating pieces of mint annoying, but using a straw helped get around that

I made this recipe for a party with friends, using mango rum instead of the white rum. All my friends raved, even the ones who don't normally drink sweet drinks. Love that it's frozen; this recipe is a keeper!
