This is a killer recipe. I keep the booze levels as per the recipe and whilst it's strong, it's fantastic! I have made it for parties and it disappears in ten minutes. Now when people are coming over, they ask if it's on the menu. Way to go Bobby!

This recipe makes tasty margaritas, but the people who have been confused by this recipe are quite correct to be confused. The recipe makes about 4 cups of watermelon ice cubes. The recipe says to "place 2 cups of the watermelon ice cubes and the remaining ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth." It then says to "repeat with the remaining ingredients." If, however, you put the "remaining ingredients" (1/2 cup simple syrup, 1/2 cup fresh lime juice, etc. into the blender with the initial 2 cups of ice cubes, you will, by definition, not have any "remaining ingredients" left to blend with the remaining 2 cups of ice cubes. Thus, the recipe should say: "Place 2 cups of the watermelon ice cubes in a blender with a 1/2 portion of each of the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses. Then, place the remaining 2 cups of the watermelon ice cubes in a blender with the remaining 1/2 portion of each of the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth."

I made this recipe exactly as written, except slightly less tequila, maybe cup and a half. Highly recommend. This will be a go-to summer drink!

I followed the recipe perfectly except I used half the amount of tequila. We don't like strong liquor taste. It was still too strong. I dumped our drinks back in the blender and added more watermelon cubes, simple syrup, limes and ice. They tasted better but the flavor still did not live up to the hype. Perhaps my watermelon wasn't very sweet. I hope that is what it was. But, now what do I do with all of the watermelon cubes in my freezer??? It was a bit time consuming to just throw them out?

People.. Are you honestly confused regarding the "blend remaining ingredients" stated twice in the recipe??!!! If the recipe yields 8 and you mix ingredients and pour them into 4 glasses, you will need to repeat this process again to yield the remaining 4 servings!!! If this is confusing to you maybe you should omit the alcohol!

I use my handy melon baller and not only make watermelon balls but honeydew also--freeze the "balls" in zip lock bags and then pop them in the blender with "the rest of the ingredients" no need for the melon liqueur, that's what the honeydew is for! Make sure you don't leave out the simple syrup.

I was very excited to try this out!! But once all was said and done it was a huge let down!! The flavor was not there. It was a miss!! Not something I would duplicate in the future!

These were the hit of a dinner party I had. A little bit of work for a drink, but well worth it.

I was embarrassed to have brought this to my first camp-out with the future in-laws. It was almost undrinkable. I like to think I can mix some pretty good drinks. But, perhaps I did it wrong.
