I've had better marinades for shrimp, but I did enjoy this one enough to make it again. I used a combo of canola and sesame oil in place of the peanut oil. The sesame gives the shrimp a very nice flavor.

I made this with large shrimp and put 4 to a skewer & grilled. They were very tasty. Maybe a tad bit salty but this could have been because I used tail on shrimp, not the whole shell, and marinated a few hours in the refrigerator instead of the 30 min the recipe called for. I will definitely make these again!

Sorry all who have rated this recipe before me. I wasn't too keen on this recipe. I have one for a spicy marinated shrimp that I much prefer, but was looking for something tamer for guests who have difficulty with spices.

These shrimp are easy to fix and great for the summer picnic crowd. Great flavor and a great change from the norm.

This is a great marinade for summer-we would recommend white jasmine rice and steamed baby carrots and snow peas as sides. For a decadent appetizer wrap some scallops in bacon. Good stuff!

I make this dish for some friends. What a great presentation and tasted wonderful. Next time I'm going to try it with lobster.

I made this recipe for a baby shower and everyone loved it, even people who don't normally like shrimp. I made it twice, once to practice, and I have these suggestions: use the largest shrimp you can find, uncooked is best, and don't marinate them longer than 20 minutes. Also, fresh squeezed lemon juice on top is great!
