Big hit at our sleepover!
I made these for a birthday sleepover, and they were a big hit. I simply sliced, rather than mashed the banana, and omitted the powdered sugar (the sandwiches were plenty sweet and grilled them in my panini maker. Will definitely make again!

It's even better with one slice of bread covered in peanut butter. Next time I might add a few mini marshmallows too. This is a keeper.

Really good ! I griddled mine in a pan. Terrific use for too ripe bananas.quick, warm- and to the person that said ot was " too gooey " - it's a dessert. It was deliciously gooey to me !

This is sooo good! My son and I have already made it a few times and both love it. I cook it on my George Forman grill and it turns out great.

Didn't like the texture of this panini. Its a mushy sandwich and I tried making it twice and both times, the bread was not crunchy enough and the filling was mushy and heavy. Didn't care for this.

These were pretty good.. although, like others said, ditch mushing up the bananas and just use diagonal slices like Bobby shows on the video. To amcoomer who commented.. LOL! I don't think one chocolate/banana panini is going to give you a chubby butt.. too funny! :D BTW.. this recipe calls for way too much butter! Sixteen tablespoons for 6 paninis? No way do you need that much! I used a panini maker, and let the butter get to room temp before spreading it thinly on the outside of the bread. For 6 panini's, I only needed about 4 tablespoons and that was plenty! If I had used 16 tablespoons, the panini's would have been swimming in butter :-O !!

I loved this recipe, but I'm thinking it would be better with the bananas sliced instead of mashed. It was just a bit too messy in the pan. Other than that, it was great!
