My son and I love balsamic vinegar, so this was a big hit for us. I used boneless skinless breasts and cooked them on the indoor forman grill because it was an ugly day out. I added sweet red and yellow peppers and onions to the mushrooms and then served them all on top of the chicken. It was delicious and very quick. I will make it again!

This was good, but nothing special. The sauce was a little weird, and I just didn't feel like it really went well with Chicken - maybe it would be better with steak. It wasn't horrible, but I probably won't make this again.

I found the ratio of balsamic and olive oil to be just fine. The second time I made it I didn't have any shiitakes so I just used some portobello caps and grill roasted and chopped them, almost as good. Great recipe!

I was worried my husband wouldn't like the vinaigrette but he loved it! Best part is, I did, too!!!

Love grilled chicken and love mushrooms, too. Knew this was going to be great combo. Definitely liked the grilling method so that the chicken was crispy skinned like Bobby said on the show. Also liked the equal parts oil/vinegar. The OLD 1 to 3 or 1 to 4 vinegrette is TOO greasy/fattening/BORING!

This recipe was both fast and easy! The taste for the short time preparing it was amazing! However, I noticed in the ingredients it calls for whole grain mustard but doesn't have it anywhere in the recipe preparation. Also it mentions shallots in the preparation, but doesn't have it in the ingredients. This confused me a little!!

I agree that the vinagrette is too vinegary. More oil or add something else to offset it.
Errors: Ingredient list is missing shallots and preparation steps miss the mustard.

I thought it was really good, but I did make one extra " plain" chicken breast because my husband usually doesn't like foods that are in any way unusual. He loved it,however, and put some of the vinaigrette on the roasted potatoes, too.

Bobby Flay produced this recipe without much thought. The vinaigrette (even parts acid to oil was too tangy. Even with the sweet balsamic vinaigrette, the ratio should be 1 part vinegar to either 3 or 4 parts oil. Additionally, the grilling instructions lead to flames and burnt chicken. Rather, the chicken should be brined and grilled with an indirect method. Finally, I think this recipe should include a bed of arugula.
