Refreshingly spicy but mildly sweet sauce! Love it. I used it on a traditional-style buffalo chicken wing. After I fried them up, i tossed the wings it in, just freaking wonderful !!!,

y9 time: why don't you try using rue to thinken the sauce, just make sure the flour gets evenly coated & cooked. \Should work just fine

I made this dish last night, the yogurt blue cheese sauce, Chipolte sauce and grilled the wings. I finished the wings with a handful of dry hickory chips with the weber lid on and vented for about 6 to 8 mins to add that wonderful touch that the coal just can't do. I just poured what I thought would be right for the vinegar sauce. I cooked 8 drums and 8 middles, 8 wings split. 1 cup of vinegar and 4 or 5 tbls honey they where wondreful.

This was very good and easy...my wish is for the yummy wing sauce to be thicker so it clings more to the skin and meat. I might try reducing the vinegar and butter and upping the amount of honey but don't want it to be too sweet. Any other ideas? Also -- love the dipping sauce with greek yogurt - not a huge fan of blue cheese but i loved the tang in the sauce.

These were amazing BUT I at least doubled the amount of chipotle and they still weren't THAT spicy. The chipotle really makes this special. Add more of it if you aren't sensitive to heat.

I would love to try this recipe. How did you make the chipotle pepper puree?

Very tasty sauce, both sweet and spicy, but only mildly spicy not too overwhelming so if you're expecting spicy wings add some more of the chipotle pepper puree. The dip compliments the wings very well but they are also excellent without it. Will definitely use the sauce again, maybe for ribs? Might also add more honey and use less vinegar to thicken it up.
