These wings were delicious!!! I did not make the Blue Cheese Dip as I wanted to savour the flavour of the wings. I was glad that I did!!! The flavour is uncomparable and once summer really heats up I'll be making these regularly!!!!!!!

We started a Bobby Flay Labor BBQ and these were the winner!! I made at least 46 of them and within 20 minutes there was none left. The dipping sauce was phenomenal.

The sauce for these wings is out-of-this-world delish! If you want it spicier, to get a real "hot" wing, I would add some cayenne pepper rather than extra chipotle, to avoid it being overly smokey.

The skin of the chicken, however, poses a problem for those of us who appreciate the crispy, deep-fried version of this dish. I recommend checking out Alton's chicken wing prep here http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/good-eats/buffalo-wings-recipe/index.html for a crispier skin. Here is his video on how to cut the chicken wings too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HX6q61JWR4

I really liked this recipe. However, I ended up modifying the proportions a little bit. After I made the sauce I found it had too much red wine vinegar for my taste. After cutting back on the vinegar I thought the sauce was perfect. A good balance of sweet and spicy! I will definitely make this one again!

A big hit at a small informal dinner party. Most people found a good spicy bite balanced by some sweetness. I wanted more heat so in the future I might add some New Mexican hot chile powder in addition/instead the ancho. The yogurt blue cheese dip is killer! Bobby is so right on the use of Greek yogurt, the tang is such an excellent foil to the blue cheese

I really enjoy watching your shows as well as enjoying your recipies,
BUT with this particular video, the camera was to SHAKY!!
With all of the moving and zipping around I could not concentrate on the
ingredients and it was making me nauseous. Please, Please don't do this
    for future vieo's!

Bobby, this is the best chicken wings ever. I started to make them for my husband about 3 years ago. Every Bronco game he has to have them. Then I lost the recipe, but since I have been making them for such a long time I knew right away hot to make them..You are a wonder-would love to have you come out here for some wings and things.. Thanks so much for your great recipes! Aida In Colorado
