My best friend made this for my baby shower last weekend. Instead of using wings she used chicken tenders and marinaded them all day. They were so tender and flavorful. We have decided that they will be a permanent fixture in our menu line-ups. I am making them for our Church Middle School leadership meeting. I can't wait to hear the raves!

I made the recipe to the book the first time. But the Red Wine Vinegar was a bit overwhelming for our liking. I tweaked the recipe a bit and it turned out awesome.

My husband just made the dipping sauces to take to a Super Bowl party. I tried the chipotle one and the vinegar was waaay to over whelming and I couldn't taste the heat at all!!! We left it at home. The blue cheese was thick so I tried to thin it out with some blue cheese salad dressing. I also added garlic to make it more interesting. It is ok , but needs some work. Maybe I'll try it later and see what happens.

I made these for a party and while they did go over pretty well, I doubt I'll go to the trouble very often. Plus I really didn't like the blue cheese yogurt dipping sauce but I accidently bought fat free yogurt so that might have made a difference.

We loved these wings. My husband and I have been looking for a great spicy wing recipe. My husband has not always been a fan of "spicy" wings. Once we tried these he changed his mind. Just enough bite but not to much.

I came home from work one Friday night and my wife said, "We're having spicy chicken wings. I'm making the sauces and you're grilling."

Now, I love to grill -- so that was fine -- but I don't like "Buffalo Wings" at all. And when my wife started working on the sauce the smell of vinegar filled the house. I don't like vinegar. 0 for 2.

I love bleue cheese but when I tasted the dipping sauce I was surprised that it was fairly mild in flavor. (My wife used sour cream instead of yogurt, not sure if that mellowed it.

After dipping the wings in the other sauce I discovered that they didn't pick up very much of the flavor, though they definitely got some heat. All in all, the flavors were much more subtle than I expected.

Anyway, despite all my reservations I was halfway through my first wing when I announced to my wife, "Yeah, these are okay. Better than I thought." On my fifth wing I said, "You know, these are actually pretty good." On my twelfth wing I declared, "I LOVE these!" I couldn't stop eating them and neither could she.

We had them again two days later.

Then we had them the following weekend. And the weekend after that. And again last weekend. And I want them again. Now.

(We can't find ancho chile powder in the supermarket here so my wife uses crushed red pepper flakes and chipotle powder.

The heat in the sauce was just right. The dipping sauce was great too. We found that the Greek yougurt is sometimes refered to as Mediteranean yougurt.

Sauce was fine but a lot of trouble - better to just use something commercial but spend the time on the wings.
