My friends and family loved this salad. I didn't see the video but will try the dijon mustard next time. My husband is not a blue cheese fan so I left it out for his serving and he was bummed I didn't leave out more for him. The only thing I had to shop for was the onion & cheese, grew the corn, tomatoes & basil : Thanks Bobby, its a family favorite

This salad was amazing. I actually loved the creaminess of the blue cheese with the basil dressing....I used the yellow and white corn and it was sooo sweet and delicious! I didn't however add the dijon as I read in one of the reviews...I will try that next time: Thanks Bobby!

I found this recipe to be very easy, although a bit more time consuming than I had previously anticipated. The price for corn on the cob was a bit high when I made this, so I used half frozen corn (thawed and cooked and half grilled corn on the cob. My family LOVED it and took more of that than anything else I made for dinner! My familly all loves blue cheese, but I would agree with the users that about half is enough. I tasted the recipe after adding half because it seemed like a lot and I stopped there--tons of flavor! I also did not see the dijon addition from the video...will try that next time! Great for entertaining, very fresh with great flavors. Definitely going to make again.

I made this for my family and friends last night and everyone loved it! However, next time I think I will try it with half the amount of blue cheese. It still tasted great but I found that it was a big overwhelming. Great recipe Bobby! Will definitely make it again!

We made this for our Father's Day picnic and it got great reviews!! I prefer tthe corn grilled out of the husk, so we did it that way. I think the amount of blue cheese you use depends on how strong a cheese you have, I only used half the amount listed and it was terrific! Also, I didn't see the show to notice the dijon was missing, and I added a little squeeze of honey to help the dressing emulsify. Next time I'll try the dijon, it's probably just as delicious!

The salad was wonderful until I added the Blue Cheese at the end. I love blue cheese, but it was a strong dischord in this recipe. When tasting it while making it (before blue chz, the flavor was wonderful, sweet and rich and fresh with basil dressing. Then I added the blue cheese and it ruined it. Leave it out. the only change I made was to grill the corn OUT of the husk--I wanted the char and carmelization on the corn. It was wonderful.

The comments and reviews for this recipe were very misleading. I thought the salad was ok, but my dad asked me why I ruined the corn. It was very rich, and it was definitely lacking something. I'm a little disappointed since I made a special trip for all the ingredients. I'm just glad I tested it on family because it didn't get rave reviews.

I'm always trying new corn recipes because it's the one vegie everyone in my family can agree on and this one went over very well. I used feta instead of blue cheese the first time I made it. I'll probably 'fuss' with it in the future - it's a very versatile recipe.
