I really liked the ease of making the recipie. I decided to add 2 habaneros to the mix to make it a little hotter. I also used boneless, skinless thighs and breast meat - really tasty. My family and friends loved the mango salsa. No one had ever had it before and it just made the chicken even tastier. I'll make this all the time.

What a fantastic recipe. And quite simple I must add. And talk about hot with that Scotch bonnet pepper. I actually doubled everything except for the pepper, and I'm glad. (And I DO like it hot Magnificant! And the salsa can be used on burgers, shrimp just about anything. Mmmm Good! Thanks Bobby!!!

Highly recommend! Definetly let it marinate for 24 hours. My husband and I liked it so much we had it twice in 3 days!

This is an incredible dish with lots of flavor. It is easy to make. The mango relish is very tasty and goes well with chips, as a brushetta.

I have made this recipe twice already. Both times I used serrano peppers in place of the habaneros for fear that it would be too hot.
It is so easy and yummy. The second time we made it for a party (about 30 people so I skipped the salsa- the idea of cutting up that many mangos just was not appealing! Nobody missed it- the chicken by itself had tons of flavor (but when I make it again for our family I will include the salsa- it's yummy!. I used thighs and breasts and marinaded them overnight in ziplock bags.
I must admit I have never had traditional Jerk Chicken- so it's hard to judge it in that sense- but this recipe has lots of great flavors and creates and juicy, flavorful meal.
