Just finished making the relish and it tastes great!! Used the food processor to cut down on the chopping time. I imagine that after it has chilled the flavors will be even better!

Great relish! I made this for a small neighborhood get together. Everyone enjoyed it, no leftovers!. It was an excellent topping for the hot dogs. It was also a great addition to the grilled sausage sandwiches. Don't buy the stuff in the jar. Get out your best knife and cutting board, roll up your sleeves and make an excellent relish.

Excellent Dill Pickle Relish, great on dawgs. I'll be adjusting more to taste with the peppers and onions next time but now I have a great baseline; it was a hit with friends and I've had a couple requests for the recipe. I'll be using it instead of store-bought from here on out in all my recipes.

So simple, yet so good. Great way to take simple hot dogs up a notch. Instead of cutting onions and peppers (and spending extra money, I used a frozen diced peppers and onion mix I already had. Definitely cut down on the extra labor.

I used nanasown hot jalapeno relish to rev it up a little bit...

The relish was delish. Pretty labor intensive for just grilling some dogs at an ordinary bbq, but it was a great way to fancy things up when we had guests over and had some all-beef dogs to grill. I also did some onions in a foil packet on the grill for more options. I left out the yellow pepper from the relish because they were obscenely expensive at the grocery store, and you wouldn't have even notice that anything was missing. I threw the left over relish into some packaged grocery store potato salad that someone had brought and the potato salad went from mediocre to awesome.

Good recipe. I wrapped my dogs with bacon and then grilled them over mesquite. They came out awesome! Bobby Flay is a great griller!

I omitted the peppers because I wanted a real old fashioned homemade relish and that is exactly what I got! I even made the relish with my version of my mom's homemade pickles. They were a little limp so I thought they would be perfect in a homemade relish and I was right. Due to the omission of the peppers it was a little loose and wet but honestly, I think it was pretty darn perfect. ~ Suzie the Foodie

This relish really topped off the Garlic Franks I sell @ www.cincysausageshop.com. I would have to call them Gourmat Garlic Franks!
