This is an excellent way to try a different take on your every day boring mushrooms such as button mushrooms. Although Bobby uses a variety of mushrooms that have a very distinct flavor all on their own. Sometimes you can't find wild mushrooms, that's ok. Maybe you can only find button mushrooms. That is when you use your imagination and can find other ingredients to enhance them and add thing such as pumpkin or squash seed oils - like- truffle oil, sesame oil, browned butter by itself or with a ground or smashed nuts or seeds of your choice - such as walnut, pistachio, almond, hazelnut, etc.; seeds such as pumpkin, sunflower, chia, flax . . . the list goes on. . . In any case use your imagination and go with it!

Tasty? Maybe! Where does one get Truffle Oil, Bobby?
Mushrooms can be wonderful without truffle oil. Grill them with onion and garlic and fresh black pepper and a splash of olive oil; no need to salt them if you are shaving parmesan on top of them as you serve; but truffle oil-? Me thinks that this recipe should include a truffle oil alternative!
