I sauteed some sliced peaches and put them over a scoop of ice cream with this sauce......heavenly!! I agree with the other reviewer that said this sauce would be good on just about anything!

A huge hit at my husband's birthday gathering. I actually made most of Bobby's dishes from "Burger Bash" and everything was outstanding!! You definitely have to double the sauce for this dessert to have enough left over to dip extra pineapple into. Mmmmmmmm delicious!!!

didn't use rum but the sauce was amazing.. my family used up any leftover sauce by dipping the pineapple in it!! also, instead of store bought cake, i made paula deen's pound cake which tasted better, since it was fresh. definitely going to make again.

This was one of the most memorable desserts I ever made! It is so simple but the combination of components is pure taste perfection! Grilling the pineapple enhances it's juiciness and flavor. The ice cream melts a little, mixes with the sauce and pineapple and is all soaked up by the pound cake - heaven in every spoonful!

This desert is fantastic! I have even made it with bananas. I think you could put this sauce on just about anything and it would be good!

My husband made this for a dinner party with my parents and it was absolutely delicious. The caramel sauce was perfect--even by a guy who doesn't cook much in the kitchen. We are looking forward to having this again with friends.
