If you love Thai and Vietnamese food, this is an easy alternative to eating out. It took no time at all to prepare and it is delicious! I think it favors Vietnamese flavorings more than thai. Our local supermarket doesn't carry thai peppers so I substituted a jalapeno. This probably takes out a majority of the heat of the dish and vietnamese use jalapenos frequently in their cooking. Serve over jasmine rice, pour the sauce sparingly over the top- perfect!!

Great flavor, very tender. Sauce way too hot for us, though.

My husband and I loved this dish. (The kids liked it too, but did not use the sauce. I only had time to marinade the pork for 45 minutes, and it was great. And the dipping sauce was fabulous. It added tons of flavor and zip. This recipe is a definite keeper in our book. We look forward to making it again!

I prepared this dish (along with Dave Lieberman's Spicy Coconut Shrimp, Mango Basil Salsa, and Lime Jasmine Rice for a work event and everyone loved it! The flavors of each dish were contrasting and complimented each other perfectly. I even tested it out on a couple of friends before the event and they emphatically requested it again for our regular Sunday night dinner.

this dish has a marinade that is super strong. i liked the flavor of it, but you coudn't even taste that it was on pork! I think it has potential, but it has to be a VERY quick marinade or just a basting sauce.
