I don't want to rate this (but apparently I have to b/c I used parsley instead of cilantro, and that could make a big difference. We thought it was good, but not great.

I absolutely love this recipe!!! A friend made this for us a couple of years ago and I remember how delicious it was, but I couldn't get the recipe from him. Fortunately, I came accross this recipe and found it was the one he made. This is so easy to make and it's absolutely delicious! Great to serve as an appetizer...I will be making this quite often now. =

These are absolutely scrumptious! Had to try after reading reviews and finding fresh scallops in Denver in January...rare!! Made as directed, reduced lime juice to half after reading so many reviews. Worked great. So good I can't stop thinking about them! Bobby, you be da man again!!

because i live in a land locked area and 20 sea scallops
would equate part of my mortgage, i used bay scallops.
served as a nice nibble with cocktails and it worked great.

This was absolutely amazing! So flavor full crisp, clean and light! We had some of the avocado puree left over. I added it to a half pound of pasta added a little red sauce, topped it with some of the jalapeno pesto and freshly grated parmigiano reggiano. Thanks Bobby!

I have tweaked this recipe to suit different tastes and costs. I've used shrimp ,which is less costly for serving many , took out jalapenos and roasted pasilla peppers for less heat, raw waluts instead of pinon's (much cheaper! and make my own chips. But no matter how I do it, everyone loves it!!

An absolute masterpiece! The avacado puree was a hit at the party. Perfect balance between the pesto and puree.

Awsome and healthy recipe!....but to send it over the top, take a couple extra minutes and make the chips yourself...guys at the firehouse love it with mahi fish taco's!
