We LOVE this sauce!!! I am more of a mild girl but still love the sauce with the following notes:
We use a little less of the serrano and seed them in a slapdash way (leaving just a few seeds for fun
Don't skimp on the mint leaves- really pack them in. It makes a difference on the sauce coming together with robust flavor and gorgeous color.
    Enjoy!!

I love this sauce and use with an assortment of different proteins and lettuces. I think you have to appreciate a taste for spicy to enjoy this sauce if you follow the recipe exactly. Not only are the serranos very spicy [which i personally enjoy] but so are the raw garlic and ginger. Use one seeded serrano if you have a more delicate pallet. I seed one and not the other and it's perfect for me.

the sauce just didn't "come together!"
and, plenty hot. Should have seeded the pepper.
good idea; need to work on the sauce.

This is a delicious and fresh sauce;very versatile. I have used it on other meats and grilled vegatables. I was raised in New Iberia(Avery Island La. where we had Tabasco eating contests. This was too hot for me;I have since deleted most of the seeds because I do enjoy the fresh taste of the pepper itself!

Absolutely LOVED the serrano-mint sauce! My guests loved it as well. I used ginger powder instead of fresh, I used honey instead of sugar and jalapeno's instead of serrano's. One of my friends keeps asking me to make it again and I will...soon!

The Serrano-Mint Sauce was not appetizing at all. The smell was bad, and although edible, the competing flavors did not work together for my husband nor myself.

Based on the reviews I was surprised that I hated this sauce.

I loved the serrano-mint sauce so well that I tripled the recipe and ate the grilled shrimp and sauce on butter lettuce several days in a row. Great recipe, Bobby!

The serrano-mint sauce is so good that I put it on all kinds of meat and fish. I just can't seem to get enough of it.

This one is very good - and versatile - because individuals can decide how spicy to make each one -- by individually adding the sauce (which is very hot.
