This dish was very tasty. A new twist on Scampi. I love the anise flavor throughout. I served it over lemon pepper wide noodle pasta from trader joes. I will make this again but I will probably try to cut the butter with evoo or maybe stock next time to cut the calories.

Followed the recipe except I saute the scrimp in a wok. Dinner guests raved. I will make this again and again.

Sorry Peter, but this was the best shrimp I've ever eating. I didn't use the fennel seed and cut down on the garlic a bit and it turned out AMAZING! I've never seen my guests eat so much shrimp in my life!

We tried this one, religiously followed the recipe. We used our precious wild caught Georgia shrimp. If I knew what this dish tasted like beforehand, I wouldn't order in a restaurant. Now that we have made it, I wouldn't make it again at home. Don't waste your time or ingredients.

BTW, sonny's recipe is posted along with the polenta recipe, just scroll down. I discovered that too late.

And for the previous posters - you can find Sonny's recipe under the Mushroom Polenta recipe.

GREAT show Bobby - we are making the Zucchini tonight with the Shrimp. We did buy all of the ingredients for Sonny's Polenta and we'll give that a shot this week!

    Yumm!!

Sonny is an engaging and enjoyable chef to watch! We wanted to make his shrimp recipe today but they posted Bobby's only! Bummer sure Bobby's is always great but Sonny's looked fantastic. Bet Sonny gets a show!!!
