OMGsh, this was absolutley amazing.... my husband and I love sweet potatoes and this recipe was great! I did not parboil my potatoes as I only used 1 for the both of us, but they were perfect just grilled and it didn't take long either. Thumbs way up!!!!!!

Have made these twice! The lime and cilantro is definitely a great flavor complement and alternative for sweet potatoes. I had to leave them on the grill a little longer than said.

Not too bad. I think I boiled the potatoes too long as the skin was falling off while I cooked them. I really liked the flavor profile.

These are super simple to do. Everyone raved about them the first time I made them. I make them a couple of times a month now. Yum.

I thought this recipe was super easy and super tasty. I loved the idea of a sweet potato with a kick. The lime/salt/cayenne/ mixture was really good. It was a great combination of sweet and spicy! I over-cooked my potatoes a bit...so be careful not to overcook them in the beginning or they won't stay together on the grill. They were still good though! I will make this again.

Really loved the cilantro, lime, and salt topping. Also, a mayo / ketchup combo makes for good sweet potato dipping. Just sayin.

The absolute BEST recipe for sweet potatoes I have ever tried. Hands down. Can't wait to try that lime-salt on other things (like on top of avocado smashed on toast... mmm. I over-parcooked the sweet potatoes in the nuker the first time around (every microwave is different, mine were already overcooked at only 6 minutes... whether you nuke or parboil your sweeties, just check them from time to time to make sure you don't over cook them before BBQ'ing. Thanks Bobby Flay, I will be eating sweet potatoes this way now for the rest of my days.

Wonderful. I've made it w/and w/o cilantro, depending on the rest of the meal. The lime-cayenne salt is killer. I'll use it on other things as well. I nuked the potatoes till almost cooked, then peeled and sliced. A couple pieces had major grill marks but were still not soft, so I nuked for a minute after grilling, so they would finish cooking. I cut the potatoes in thick crosswise slices because the potatoes were torpedo shaped. They looked and tasted amazing.

Outstanding flavour. And more thank yous to the reviewers who suggested the microwave option and advised to really oil the grates to prevent sticking -- life savers!
