The tilapia was good. Nothing over the top. The sauce was good, but it was too lemony for the men in my family. Next time I will reduce the zest and juice. I didn't refrigerate the sauce for 30 minutes, so maybe that makes a difference.

Couldn't have loved it more! We would have happily paid $25 a plate for tonight's dinner at a local restaurant. This recipe is amazing. I believe that it is really important to make the lemon butter sauce properly (cooling it and all....it was delightfully fantastic. Thank you, Bobby!

I didn't grill the fish, I fried it in olive oil and freshly chopped garlic, so I believe that helped with the flavor. I also took some liberties with the lemon butter. I didn't have time to heat, refrigerate and then get back down to room temp, but it turned out really, REALLY yummy. I also cooked the orzo in chicken broth.
However, I should have read the reviews before trying this recipe. While I love lemon, it was way too citrusy for me. With some modifications, it is a very yummy recipe.

I followed the recipe except for omitting the heavy cream and reducing the lemon by half (at the recommendation of several reviewers. The dish had a heavy taste of butter, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The capers helped cut into that taste, but the butter flavor was still pretty strong. I prefer to taste other flavors in my dish aside from pure butter

Delicious!!! I used stripe bass instead of tilapia and it was outstanding.

This fish was so delicious, my 9 year old couldnt stop eating it. My mom has never had orzo and she fell in love with it. I love the lemon butter and I will use it with other recipes.

I have been trying to make more fish dishes for my family and they love tilapia as well as orzo so this fit the bill! The taste is very simple, no strong flavors. I actually added toasted pine nuts the second time I made it to add a little crunch and left out the capers which were a bit salty even after rinsing them.

I've made this recipe several times and it has come out beautifully every time. I made it for our family for Mother's Day (for my mom and grandma and they still rave about it. Instead of grilling the tilapia, which can be difficult due to it being delicate and flaky, I sauteed it in some olive oil and garlic. This is one of my all time favorite recipes!
