This recipe is easy and delicious! My husband even said it was the best thing I had ever made and requests it often. I don't like fish, but am supposed to eat it since becoming pregnant and I would eat this fish dish every day if I could! I agree with the comments about the reduction. Watch it because it goes fast!

First time grilling with tilapia, and it was so easy! The fish came out perfect, although a little broken up, and the sauce was to die for! Next time I would definitely use fewer capers and keep a better eye on the reduction (it can go really fast. Great recipe!

Ok, so super easy and delish. I made two changes, only b/c i had too, not because i wanted to. The first change is that i thought i had more Tilapia than i did. I only had one filet, so i cooked 3 chicken breasts (scalapini style...So they were nice and thin and cooked in about the same time as the fish. The second change I made was to add a tablespoon of light herb cream cheese instead of the "splash" of cream.
I loved it, and my husband loved it. It will be a staple in the house.

Excellent! All the flavors melded together beautifully. As my husband and I do not like our food too lemony, I cut back on the lemon juice by half. Otherwise, I followed it exactly. This is easy to prepare and affordable. It has a richness about it but is also on the lighter side. I would serve this for company with a good chardonnay.

We weren't blown away by this recipe, but it was pretty good. I think next time I will cut the amount of lemon juice I add in half and use a little less of the sauce to top the fish. As it was, it was just too sour. I paired this with some endemame as a light vegetable with the heavy (butter sauce and it worked well. It was a very easy and quick recipe.

Made this for dinner tonight. Used frozen Tilapia. Here is how I did it....I rubbed and seasoned BOTH sides of the fish with olive oil, kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, and a dry mixture of Tony's creole, Old Bay Lemon Pepper and Granulated garlic....placed on tin foil and grilled for about 10 minutes....while the fish was grilling I made the sauce using sweet onions, sauted in a tiny sliver of butter, 3 T of lemon juice(my fresh lemons were not good so had to use concentrate and a little less than 1/2 c of reisling white wine (it is really sweet that is why I used just a little less. When the wine reduced I added a large splash of heavy cream then added the butter....seasoned with a touch of salt and pepper. Served with Brussel Sprouts and Couscous.....it was wonderful and done in less than 30 minutes!!!

Thanks Gene for your suggestion on using the blackened seasoning - it was perfect! Did it in a pan on the stove because the weather wasn't great outside. Excellent, easy dinner.

Maria - yes, it DOES take 10 minutes. It calls for cooked orzo and you can make the sauce ahead of time. As far as the ingredients go, I don't know what you're talking about, but our dinner was awesome!
