This is the best Guacamole recipe! I did however add some fresh garlic and it was amazing. This one is a keeper!

The current lexicon of the english language does not contain the words necessary to describe how good this recipe is. Do not skip the fried flour tortillas; they set off the guacamole perfectly. The fresh sweetness of the red onion coupled with the slightly salty smoothness of the rest of the guacamole is the key. If you like avocados even in the slightest, try this recipe. You will not be disappointed.

My 10 yr old daughter and I made this together and we loved it. I didn't even notice there was no garlic in the recipe until I just read someone's review which pointed it out. Instead of making the tortillas, I just bought Tostitos tortilla strips and sprinkled cumin on top.

I made this for fight night at my house and it was a hit. The lime is what makes it so good. I don't like guacamole but found myself going back for more. I just used a spoon to mash everything together and the consistancy was awesome.

Made this for a Board Meeting of 30+ people along with a myriad of other appetizers from around the world. Everything I made disappeared (hungry group, I guess. This guacamole however, I had to make twice per request. They couldn't get enough - I probably would have had to make it 3 or 4 times over had I the ingredients. Easy to do, wonderful flavors, simple and delicious. I seeded the jalapeno being unsure of what my guests would prefer. I will not seed the pepper next time as I like spice.

I'm a big Bobby Flay fan and chose this recipe because it was his. I have to say I was very disappointed. I found it seasonally bland.

I made this for a party. Everyone loved it. I don't even like guacamole but am experimenting with new foods. I loved this recipe. It was easy to make. It was the hit of the party. I would make this again and it is definitely a "keeper". Thank you Bobby!

I am a guacamole purist and I thank you Bobby for not adding garlic like so many do. It is a detractor from the light flavor of the avocado and overpowers any quac. Your recipe is simple, easy and gives a great party a kick. I love it!

Made this using a hand potato masher for the avocado. So fresh and delicious -- definitely a keeper.

I love this chunky-style guacamole much better than the smooth (store-bought kinds. The lime adds a bright, fresh flavor and offsets the spiciness of the jalapeno nicely. The red onion adds a great tang as well. If you feel like the onion is a bit too strong, you can give it a light rinse in warm water (works well when placed in a colander after chopping to take away some of the bite.
