I bow to Bobby's greatness on this recipe. Everyone even wanted to take pictures of the turkey this Thanksgiving. So moist and flavorful!

Registered just to post a review about this wonderful recipe. This was the best turkey we've done in 15 years of doing our own Thanksgiving. The white meat was moist and flavorful, and braising the dark meat separately created a level of flavor we've never had before. We've tried brining several times before but it all just never came together. This will be our go-to Thanksgiving turkey recipe from now on!

I'm a vegetarian, first turkey I have ever cooked, and it was one of the best turkeys my family has ever had! Everyone said it was the most moist turkey they have ever had! I have no idea how it turned out, all I know it was really pretty when it came out of the oven! : I definitely recommend this recipe, it is easy and delicious!

Tried this on Thanksgiving after watching the Live show, it was a disaster. Even after the rest period, still lost a lot of juice when I removed the thighs and legs. If you have only one oven, this makes it difficult to get the other T-day dished like stuffing and casseroles done with the dark meat. Very disappointed.

Over the years have tried all kinds of Turkey recipes. Brineing etc. This was the best. The breast was cooked perfectly and allowing it to rest for an hour came out very moist. Also gave me an hour to cook or heat other foods. This now my go to Turkey recipe. Thanks Bobby.

Made this yesterday for Thanksgiving after watching the live show last weekend- WOW! Great classic flavors, with delicious gravy. It made lots of gravy, but there is not much left. As always, Mr. Flay is my hero:

This was the best turkey ever! I added the white wine with the stock while the turkey cooked which produced a rich, delicious gravy. Both the turkey and the gravy received kudos from my guests.

After reading many recipes on how to cook my first turkey, I chose to use this recipe. What a huge success! I did variate, however. I first brined the turkey (mixing Alton Brown and Alex Guarnashelli's recipes for this process. Then I followed Bobby Flay's recipe for the prepping and cooking. My turkey was tender, juicy and retained its flavors well! I also cooked the turkey for about 7 hours. It was fall off the bone good! Bobby Flay is right as he mentioned on Thanksgiving Live...have lots of chicken stock on hand...it makes a difference!
