I thought it was just okay. I did the blue cheese and vinegar sauce. I was expecting this wow results after making the preparations and reading the reviews. It was definitely too chili taste to taste the chicken. I won't be making this again. Maybe I'll try Alton's next time.

I usually broil the chicken to save calories, but the flavors both for the wings and the yoghurt sauce are great. We love it.

Great recipe. The flour mixture was loved by everyone. Didnt need sauce. However the sauce recipe was great as well. Such a different but good flavor. I thought the amount of vinegar was spot on. I didnt make the dip as we arent big dippers. My first attempt at making wings. They were a hit. Thanks Bobby

Incredible flavor! I haven't always been a fan of hot wings but Bobby's recipe has moved them to the top of my list. The sauce was incredible and we loved the dip...but the crust that you get with Bobby's flour blend is freaking incredible!!! We had to make ourselves toss them in the sauce cause we couldn't stop eating them straight out of the oil!!! I am going to try it with every other part of the chicken!

I made these wings last night and thought the sauce was great but I used barely any Red Wine Vinegar after reading the other reviews. Had I put the 1/2 Cup suggested I think it would have overpowered everything else. The dipping sauce is amazing though!!

The chile sauce was really tasty and delicious, but next time I would probably halve the amount of vinegar, because the vinegar was almost too overpowering. I tasted the sauce when it was almost done and added more honey and more chilies from the can of chile in adobo sauce to try to tone down the vinegar, but the vinegar was still very strong. Even so, the sauce was very good and I will make again.

I made these this past weekend. They were so good that I had to make another batch! My bf and I loved them! I highly recommend. They're spicy, but not too spicy, it's just the right amount of heat, sweetness and tang. Love them!

Okay the 5 stars are for the sauce. I made my hot wings with emiril's cajun seasonings. But Bobby Flay's blue cheese-yogurt sauce is out of this world! I added 1 tsp. of minced garlic to it, used a block of blue cheese and crumbled it into the sauce. My bf loved it and we both ate 2 lbs of wings ourselves. Very good sauce!!

These were good, but not great. Too much vinegar in the sauce (note: I made them from the Throwdown cookbook which says 3/4 c red wine vinegar ... I see on here it is 1/2 c, and the sauce was way too thin ... it did not really stay on the wings well. Some nice flavors, but a little overpowered by vinegar. I also made Drew's version -- delicious flavor, and much better consistency, but a touch too sweet for us. So then I combined both sauces half and half -- very good! I think that's how I would do it in the future, a "Frankenstein" combination of both recipes.
