As a Native American cook, I have never "cut in shortening" in my recipe for frybread, which is one that my greatgrandmother used.

This Chili was wonderful! We weren't able to find the specific chili powders but standard mexican chili powder worked well. Great for chili..well worth the effort!

In my search for the perfect game day recipe (2006 I discovered Bobby Flay's Lamb and Black Bean Chili with all of the fixins. I have to admit that I was a bit concrned about adding cinnamon let alone lamb with black beans, but what an awesome mixture. I actually found myself craving it the following week. I am making this again for Super Bowl 2007. Never mind, I'm on my way to the market - I'm making it tonight.

My brother made this chilli for me and I was blown away. He is a great cook and improvises a lot, but says this is the only recipe he follows exactly every time. The fry bread was absolutely perfect with it, and so easy!

I tried this recipe after watching Bobby Flay cook it and following the recipe online. It was definately the tastiest chili I've ever tasted. The ingredients make this one of a kind. With cinnamon, honey, dark beer, and lamb meat there seems to be a lot going on but they all come together wonderfully. Didn't try the bread but this would be a great snack anytime... Bobby Flay is "that real" in the kitchen. Mad props to him and this recipe.
