Bobby's recipe sounds pretty similar to how I make my lasagna but where is the Bove Cafe lasagna recipe??? Both recipes should be available so that the viewing audience can judge the "throwdown" too.

Labor intensive but well worth the effort. The bolognese sauce is absolutely wonderful, full-bodied with plenty of sauce and meat. Allow plenty of time to make this. I have tossed my old stand-by recipe of 15+ years for this one.

This is really exceptional lasagna, but it is so much easier to make in stages. Just make the sauces a day or two ahead of time. Then do everything else on the day of serving. I couldn't find pork shanks, so I used country pork ribs. It was truly a wonderful change from standard lasagna!

This is a great change from the norm. The bechamel is fantastic and the bolognese sauce is right on point. I thought it was just a bit to meaty for lasagna though. Overall it is an A. Thanks BF
