    THEY ARE THE BEST BEANS I HAVE EVER HAD. THEY WERE A SMASH AT THE HOG ROAST. THANK YO MARY ANN!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SO EASY. THEY CAME OUT PERFECT EVERY TIME. TRY PUTTIG IN SOME CHOPPED GREEN PEPPERS. ITS REAL TASTY

    I have been making this recipe since it aired many years ago. They are always a hit. I do use a pound of bacon that I cut up and cook until almost done, drain, and add to the beans and mix it in. Very easy and delicious. I will try the jalapenos next time.

    This is very similar to my Mother-in-law's recipe and we all LOVE it. I do use a lower (325 degrees temperature.
    If you like spiciness, you can also add some chopped jalapeno.
    Delicious and so easy!!

    This recipe was soooo easy and everyone who has eaten these have remarked it was the best batch of baked beans they have ever eaten. Perfect every time.
