Love the flavor of this Masala Sauce. Made it with the Chicken Tikka Masala recipe. Amazingly good! Everyone loved it!

This sauce combined with Bobby's Chiken TIkka Masala recipe is one of the best curries I ever tried. Even in India! The trick is to marinade the chicken the night before and then the sauce the next day. It is easy, spicy and delicious. Thank you.

The sauce tastes ok, but not even close to a typical Indian restaurant. I was looking for a real authentic recipe but this is not it.

Nice, fresh masala sauce. I made it with chicken & basmati rice. Love all the flavors.

This is a good sauce. But it is not as good as any of the masala sauces that I've eaten in Indian restaurants. I had very high hopes that this would be the best ever and I'm a little shocked this one the throwdown. Sadly, I'll be looking for another recipe.

Awesome. Just the right amount of hot and spicy before burning your mouth if you are someone who likes mildly hot food! If it turns out too hot, add yogurt.
The red onion slices are not explained. Unless you love raw onion, just leave out, as it does take a bit of time and space to prepare the chicken (see Chicken Tikka recipe, sauce and rice. The recipe for the rice prints the last two paragraphs two times. Ignore the last 2 repeat paragraphs as they appear to be 1st draft.
Matching this up with the Chicken Tikka recipe is an amazing combination. I have never used so much spice in one recipe in my life. Literally was over one full cup of spices amongst all 3 recipes!

I had to make an account just so I could help raise the stars on this recipe. This is a fantastic curry sauce. Make this and pair it with the chicken tikka masala as he did on the show, and you will make a lot of new friends. It's very spicy, as it should be, but if you want to tone it down it should be easy enough to scale back the cayenne.
No idea what the iced red onions are for, but as long as you read ahead, you can use that red onion tomorrow!

What are we supposed to do with the red onion rings (last ingredient?
