Definitely take other reviewers advice on adjusting the dijon and the garlic. I wish I had! As it is, the dijon was way too intense. I did really l like the idea of wrapping the burger in foil and pressing it with 2 pans- that worked out great w/ easy clean up!

Great flavors! Loved everything about this burger. I used ground turkey for the meat since I don't eat beef, but everything else was done exactly the same as Bobby.

We took the advice of the previous reviewers and used less dijon and more garlic. The burger worked really well with ground turkey.. since we didn't have adobo seasoning, we mized some ground pepper, kosher salt, oregano, and garlic powder into the meat before forming them into patties. We used french burger rolls.. they really worked well with the ingredients didn't get soggy. Overall, it turned out exactly how I imaged and I would certainly cook this recipe again! TRY IT!

    Take advantage of our reviews.

    Watch his video.

Yes it was too much dijon. The roasted garlic and mayo didn't come through. Adjust dijon down, add more garlic..lots more.

Burger itself needs a little something more...like one reviewer's suggestion: brush with a little adobo..great idea.

Repeat: MAKE THIS BURGER WITH THE ABOVE IN MIND. Swiss and Ham is so yummy.

Again, great burger! Except, for the sauce I'd recommend using less Dijon mustard. Maybe only 1/8 cup. It completely overpowered the garlic taste.

Love Cuban Sandwiches. This is such a nice twist on a burger to give it the same taste as a cuban. I used the recipe given except used turkey for the burgers and put a light coating of oil and adobo on them before putting them on the gas grill. The whole family loved them, this will be made again and again! Only thing I may do next time is use some Jalepeno mustard or put a few pickled ones on top for a little heat. But that is just my taste liking a little heat in everthing I cook for fun.

This has become my "go to" burger at our cookouts. Absolutely fabulous! I use a french hamburger roll. It stands up to the ingredients and pressing.
