This was excellent! I didn't use the grill, I used fresh garlic and sauteed it in a pan, added the butter, removed most of it and put it on the bread. Then I added the steak to the pan (sirloin strips and seasoned them, then cut them placed the strips on the cheesy bread - and man was it a hit! Everyone loved these!

I am a huge Flay fan having cut my teeth on some of his recipes. He seldom disappoints and this recipe is no exception. I went as far as making my own bread for this one. Chalk another one up for Bobby. If you think you might like this just do it!

These sandwiches were so good!! The smell of the garlic butter when it hit the grill was unbelievable and the parsley oil added a freshness that was superb. I added a bit of crushed red pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice just to add a little pizzazz. These were awesome!

I used fresh sweet basil instead of parsley and it took me a little bit longer than 45 minutes to complete but all in all these mini sandwiches are exceptional.

Don't think that I have ever witnessed my husband not go back for seconds, or proclaim to be full with 4 stips of steak!! Even my kids (who are super piicky thought they were great.

This sandwich was so good!!! I thank Bobby Flay for the idea. I happen to have some John Soules fajitas strips and some roast garlic butter spread from the bakery section of Wal-mart in my refrigerator when I came across this recipe. I pulled off a semi-homemade recipe that probably tasted as good as if I had made it from scratch. Give this recipe a try you won't be disappointed.
