My family loved it! I marinated and grilled both salmon and shrimp - both were delicious. I couldn't find the Yuzu juice (I didn't look that hard so I just squeezed fresh lemon over the salmon and shrimp. Then, I boiled the marinade and added a bit of chicken stock to make a sauce. Served it over wasabi mashed potatoes (another idea from a reviewer. It was fantastic.

Simple and tasty! I didn't use the miso, only because my family doesn't keep it stocked, so I did have to omit it. It still tasted great though. I tasted the marinade and had to add a little bit more sweet for my taste, then put a squeeze of lemon right after I took it out of the oven. Thanks to the reviewers who gave tips on baking/broiling, because that's what I did--7 minutes on one side at 425 degrees in the oven, and 3 minutes under the broiler.

Definite winner! I wasn't able to find Yuzu juice, but substituted Ponzu (soy sauce with Yuzu juice in it and adjusted the soy sauce accordingly. I broiled it skin side down for about 8 minutes, then flipped it and broiled for about two more minutes. Sprinkled with more ponzu juice and served.

Really tasty and light marinade that still allows the the great flavor of salmon to come through! I didn't use the miso in my marinade and it turned out wonderfully. I marinaded my 1.5 lb coho salmon filet skin-side down in a foil-lined baking dish and then threw the whole thing in the oven---baked it at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then broiled for 2 min on high to make the top a little crispy. Perfect amount for 3 people. Got rave reviews!

This was quick, easy, and delicious!

Went to Whole Foods/Trader Joes to find all my ingredients. I've never used Mirin before so that was a bit of a struggle to find. Happily, I found the mirin was by the soy sauces in Whole Foods.

Holy crap, this is a delicious marinade. Roasted in oven at 425 for 13 minutes for a self-serve dinner - leftovers at lunch tomorrow will be a treat.

Great recipe, but I combined it with another. The two significant alterations were 1. adding 1/2 a cup of brown sugar to the marinade, and 2. poaching the salmon filets and baking them instead of grilling. The flavor was great, and so was the color and texture. I topped it with spicy seaweed flakes and served it with steamed kabocha squash and a veggie medley with sesame seeds.
