This recipe has a great subtle flavor that doesn't override the fish. I substituted red chili miso because I could not find the white miso. I haven't tried white miso so I don't know what it tastes like but the red didn't negatively effect the flavor at all.

This is my family's go-to grilled salmon recipe. My children love it and so do my husband and I. It's quick to go together and tastes fabulous.

First time I tryed cooking fish on the grill. Excellent, & nice change up from my other salmon recipe. The only change I made was using White Wine with a 1/4 tsp of sugar, as a substitute for the Mirin.

My wife has to keep her acid low, but can eat and loves Miso/Ginger recipes. I can't wait to try this one.

To kcandler_92_12847238: If you haven't found Miso yet, look in Whole Foods. They have 5+ varieties in most stores. Miso is sold in 15-16 oz. containers and is in the chiller, as it is perishable. Look where they have the tofu dogs, etc.
Aisian-foods market should also have it, as well as natural food stores.

This was the most amazing recipe for salmon. Great flavor, I paired it with wasabi mashed potatoes and hubby and I were in heaven. Thanks Bobby!

Yummy and simple to make (just make sure you leave enough time to marinade in advance!

I omitted the ginger (more b/c I didn't have any on hand than for any other reason and substituted yuzu sauce for a splash of ponzu sauce.

Also, instead of grilling, I pan-seared in a cast iron skillet (1.5 min on each side on med-high heat, then baked in oven @ 400F for 7-8 min since the salmon was pretty thick and I wanted to make sure the inside was cooked (if it isn't a thick piece of salmon, might want to reduce the time in the oven

I wanted a new salmon dish and I have to say that this marinade made the salmon very tasty and tender. I will definitely use this over again...and in a previous review someone used in chicken and shrimp so I will try it next. This is a keeper! Thanks Bobby!

Excellent! The combination of the salmon with the miso marinade is perfect. I don't usually like salmon, but in this case I'd eat it every week. We used a lot more of the marinade than it called for, which was just a personal preference. My husband and I like the stronger miso flavor over the fish.

This recipe is one of the easiest, salmon recipes that is guaranteed to be a winner every time! My boyfriend's cholesterol has been high, so the more ways I can cook salmon/fish, the more Omega we can get! The mirin and rice vinegar tenderizes the salmon and it came out so tender, moist and smoky off the grill, with a perfect crust. The recipe balances just the right amount of salty (from the miso and soy sauce and sweet (from the mirin. Serve with rice and green beans...and sake, and you're set. Healthy and delicious!
