It was tough to find all the different Japanese elements for this recipe, but the payoff was well worth it. Some of the best salmon I've ever had, great recipe! I substituted Ponzu juice for the Yuzu juice.

I made some changes to the recipe and the results were very good. When I went shopping for white (shiro miso, I saw just how expensive it was. So I substituted three small packets of white miso soup mix (which included the tiny squares of tofu and seaweed and mixed it with warm water to make a paste. Then I added the rest of the marinade ingredients to it, except I used *one* tablespoon of soy sauce instead of three. The modified marinade wasn't too salty or strong for the salmon.

The marinade is easy if you have the ingredients. The flavors penetrate the fish quickly. I like the Ginger, but not the miso paste flavor.
