Any questions as to why he lost this throw down?
I'm with Linda. You can put all sorts of stuff on bread, but it doesn't make it a muffaletta.
Mayo and sugar?
And who's the anti-christ who substituted in some Splenda?
Good gawd people.

Using mayonnaise, sherry vinegar and honey as a dressing for this wonderful traditional sandwich turns my stomach.

I remember when this episode aired. This recipe caught my interest. After trying the recipe, it is easy to make and very tasty. As a variation on this theme, I substituted prosciutto as the featured meat and asiago as the featured cheese. Bobbie?s salad stuffing seams to work in any combination. If you can make or get fresh Italian loaf, the stacked muffaletta is un-real. I used Amy's crusty Italian loaf recipe taken from the FN website. Congrats, Bobby. A home run!

Very Easy & Very Good. We left out the honey and substituted splenda. Still Good.
