Really blandly spiced. Heavy orange flavor, though, probably because the cinnamon, 2 cloves and 2 allspice berries weren't enough to balance it out. If I were to make it again, I'd ramp up the spice or halve the orange.

This is a very flavorful drink. I found that the longer the spices and orange steeped, the better the taste. I used this recipe for a work event and it was very successful and popular. Also great being warmed in a crock pot slow cooker!

Delicious! I added some ginger to spice it up and 1 cup of whiskey in order to turn the drink into a lovely adult treat.

Made this for Thanksgiving, and it was wonderful. I doubled the recipe and put it in the slow cooker on low and people drank it all day long!

I made a gallon of this for a Christmas Party last year. People stood over the pot on the stove to drink the cider -- all gone!

This is a delicious and SO SIMPLE recipe for a great mulled cider. My husband was skeptical, but once I had it on the stove and the aroma was wafting upstairs he quickly began to change his mind. Once he tasted the cider he was hooked. I added an extra clove and all spice berry (or two?, because I like a lot of spice and my cider base was really really sweet. It was delish! Thanks Bobby!

My friend called this "christmas in a cup"! It was wonderful, the oranges really made it more than just warmed up cider and the spices went perfectly...so simple yet so delicious. Also, I was out of allspice berries and used ground allspice instead, which worked fine as well, and added two more cloves because I like the flavor the spices add a lot :.

I made this on Halloween. It was very easy to make and the flavors were perfect. My family couldn't get enough and we actually had to double the recipe! My husband added spiced rum to his and the flavors went together perfectly.
