This is by far one of the easiest cider recipe I've seen, and it was delicious. I doubled the recipe and added more cinnamon, allspice berries, and cloves. Cooked it without alcohol, but added some spiced rum (Captain Morgan's as I poured it into mugs. The whole double batch was polished off within an hour by 12 people. I definitely recommend this recipe!

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit. I had it with rum as did some other guests and it was great. I also had some guests that had it without the rum including my father in law that said it was really something special. Smelled so good in the house and was glad that it tasted just as good.

Really good, but don't forget to add brandy for the adults!

I would double this recipe for a larger group, it ran out quickly. The orange is a nice touch.

I think it is the orange slices that makes this recipe. It also looks good in the mug when you serve it. I made this 2 ways. One pot just like the recipe states and the other one was 2 cups apple juice, 1/2 cup OJ, sliced oranges, and spices ground to my taste. Both ways very good.

The aroma really filled my house on T-day. We didn't drink too much during the day, but later than night, with a bottle of brandy... Well, I made it 2x and we drank most of it within a few days. It was fabulous, easy, and a must to have on your stove (if you have the room during the holidays. A new tradition!

As a family we enjoy it every fall/winter holiday or family night.
