this was AWFUL. the apples were not soft the pancakes were like lead. this was a total waste of time and ingredients. When I say lead I am being polite. the pancakes were deadly weapons. I make regular pancakes with a mix and add almond extract and vanilla extract and just a little more mix and they are phenomenal. I mean one thousand time better. Don't waste your time on this awful recipe

I only made the apples, but they were delish! Soft, carmelized, cinnamony goodness. The only thing I didn't like about the recipe was that they took so long. These would be more of a brunchy breakfast b/c of the time factor.

The apples were definitely delicious. The pancakes were a bit dense but still good. the oats were a really cool addition that I have never had pancakes before. But overall they were really good.

I never thought in a million years that oatmeal will taste good inside a pancake. I have never heard of this before, and I tell you it was DELICIOUS. This dish I will definitely do again and again...

delicious flavor, used course oats and pancakes were a bit dense but we like them that way and may have been the oats I used. Will definitely save this recipe and use again for special times. Used the recipe exactly but only used maple syrup for topping, not the apples but will try those next time.
