The ganache is the easiest thing to make and it was absolutely the most wonderful thing ever!

Never made jelliy filled doughnuts before, so we really enjoyed these. Will make again using strawberry jam and dark chocolate. And yes, that Mark guy was an immature ass, and I was appalled at his rudeness. I actually felt sorry for Bobby, but he was gracious and kind no matter how ugly and rude Mark was.
    Anyway, try these doughnuts.

This Mark guy was SUCH a JERK on this show! I agree, it is an honor to be featured on FN and this guy looked like he was not comfortable in his own skin!
I was going to visit this place when I go to NY...not anymore! Mark acted like a lil b*yatch on the show! I've never seen such immaturity!

Mark Israel is the biggest a*... jerk... I have ever seen on this show. It is an honor to be featured on the FN in any way. Bobby is always so lovely and generous on this show. He gives everyone the respect and love they deserve, although often I think his food is better. I follow it religiously. The fact that there were so many drag queens in the audience makes me embarrassed for my people. Mark, you were a petulant, little baby and I am so happy others see it as I do. You couldn't even do the tag line for the show? REALLY? Grow up. If you can't please return to your basement.

Hey all, yes the doughnut guy was abrasive, if not toxic, but don't rate Bobby's offering so poorly without trying it first. Prepared correctly, these doughnuts are as good as any I've had. Give 'em a go.

I will admit, that I often feel really bad for the restaurants being highlighted on this show, since they think they are having a show done about them and they are essentially tricked into competing. As a result, I often want Bobby Flay to lose. However, on this episode, the guy from the Doughnut Plant was such a POOR SPORT that I really wanted Flay to win this one. In most episodes, the restaurant owners featured take it in stride and are great competitors, realizing that it is a compliment to them to be featured on Throwdown.

But Wow! I just can't believe the attitude of that guy. The rude comment about Flay's donut and then the jelly hand thing was such a mark of poor character!

This is one that I wanted Flay to win.

Havent tried Flay's doughnuts but I will then I will comment. I just had to comment on that jerk he had the throw down with what a LOSER (even though he won I cant believe he acted a fool thats what you call a poor sport. I havent tried his doughnuts and I don't think I will after seeing what a punk he is, anyways in my book Flay won, and Flay was so professional about the whole thing, I would of done the same thing, I would have never stooped to that idiot's level.

Mark Israel was such a jerk I don't think I could ever stomach one of his doughnuts again! What Bobby's doughnut lacked in flavor, they more then beat Marks with his horrible, spoiled attitude!
