Not often a side dish of peas is the highlight of the meal, especially when there's prime rib on the table, but this one was the party favorite. It is simple and superb!

Love this side dish! Very simple and quick to make. We substituted bacon instead of pancetta, a little less expensive but still delicious!

Great dish for garden peas and shallots since both are in season together. I added some sliced shitakes in the pan with the pancetta after letting the meat brown a little first, then some minced ginger root with the shallots. Delicious and simple! Thanks for the recipe.

Loved it. I really liked the heat from the red pepper flakes. I used bacon instead of pancetta since I already had it on hand. Will make it again!

Great dish and easy o make. My only recommendation is to cut the pancetta in half, this is a very strong but delicious Italian bacon that can overpower the dish.

I made this side dish for Thanksgiving and it was a hit. I've been asked to make it for Christmas too.

Like some others, I made it with bacon instead of pancetta. This was a very tasty and simple way to dress up frozen peas. My family loved it on Thanksgiving.
