I made a batch of this for Thanksgiving but should have bought enough to make 3 or 4! It was a big, big hit with the whole family.

This is the best Sangria ever!! Made triple batch. I used Yellow Tail Merlot and the cheapest brandy at he store, and everyone loved it!! Going to be a new staple at my parties from now on! I made it the morning before, so it sat for about 30 hours in the fridge. The best part was the marinated sliced apples. We put the fruit out on a plate to nibble on like Appetizers and the hands-down favorite was the apples, going to add extra next time just to eat!!

This was an awesome recipe. Liquor definitely makes my holidays go easier with the family. I doubled the amount of simple syrup in the recipe to make it a little bit sweeter. Also, next time I'll probably leave out the brandy since I didn't think it really needed it, and will probably omit the pomegranete seeds (didn't do much for 2.50. Other than that, this was fantastic and I will be making it at future thanksgivings!

This goes into the recipe files! The brandy definitely gives it a nice autumnal warmth.
