Every time I make this sangria, it disappears in minutes and people whine for more. It's the only alcoholic beverage that my mom will drink so it's an essential part of my recipe repertoire.

the hardest part about this sangria is the time you have to wait for the fruit to let out all the flavor into the beverage... but its well worth the wait!!

A friend & I regularly visit a Cuban restaurant for their pitchers of sangria. We wanted to try to make it ourselves. This recipe sounded simple & delicious. We only made 1 batch for a party. The guest enjoyed it so much, we began to run out. The hostess quickly added a bottle of her father?s homemade pomegranate wine along with some fruit. The combination of the red wine with the pomegranate wine was beyond delicious.

This has to be one of the best sangria recipes. We've served it many times during parties and everyone has loved it, even the most skeptical of guests. The only change we've made is to increase the simple syrup amount to one cup. Try it, you'll like it!
