    I really let it marinate a while- overnight- to let all the flavors soak in. Turned out amazing this way, as the alcohol really caramelized to a delicious outer crust and the inside was so tender. Made it for an alcohol themed potluck and it was the perfect main dish to serve to the crowd!

    I'd never done a red wine marinade before -- simply delicious. By the way, a $1.99 bottle of Trader Joe's Cabernet worked just great. No need to spend any more on a "finer" wine.

    This was an excellent flank steak recipe even grilled indoors. The meat was perfectly cooked and moist. Everyone loved this recipe.
